How do I schedule a service?
Call me at 724-875-8793 or send an email to sue@littlelionpetcare.com with your name, phone number, location of service and what kind of services you need. I will return your call or email as soon as possible. From there I will set up a day and time to visit your home, meet your pet(s) and set up your services.

What kind of payment do you take?
Cash, checks or payment through Zelle. Full payment can be made at time of service or invoiced at the end of service and due within one week.

Will you administer a medication to my pet if needed?
Yes, I can administer medications at no additional charge during my visit. A Medication Instruction Form will need to be completed with specific directions before day of service.

What should I do about getting you access to my home?
I will collect your key at the In-Home Consultation and a Key Release Form will need to be completed at this time. I can leave your key in your residence when your service is complete (i.e. vacation stops). If you will be requiring an on-going service I can keep a copy of your key secured for future visits. All key tags are labeled with your pet’s name and reference number only and kept secured at all times.

What if my pet is sick while I am away?
I carry a pet first aid kit in my vehicle at all times to manage minor first aid emergencies. At the In-Home Consultation you will complete a Client Information form that includes your preferred Veterinarian that I can refer to in case of a life-threatening emergency.

Will you drive my pet to a grooming or veterinary appointment?
As my schedule permits, I can transport your pet to a grooming or veterinary appointment. The fee for this would be based on distance and amount of time required to complete the appointment. Please call or drop me an email with your request and I will quote you a fee. Please note: this service is only offered to clients I service on a routine basis.

What if your list of services does not include a service I need?
I am very flexible and will do my best to provide you with the services that best suit your pet's and families' needs. Just give me a call or send me an email with any questions.

Do my pets have to be vaccinated?
Dogs and cats are required to be up to date on rabies vaccinations. Dogs, by PA law, are required to be licensed in the county in which they live.

Are you insured and bonded?
I am insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates. I can also provide you with the results of my Criminal History Review.

How much advance notice do you need?
A 48 hour advanced notice is preferred. I will do my best to accommodate last minute care requests with no additional fee. For longer term stops (i.e., vacations) a two week advance notice is needed.

Will you guarantee the time of your visits?
I will not be able to guarantee an exact time but will do my best to make my stop within 30 minutes of your requested time.

Will you watch my pets on holidays?
I can make scheduled holiday stops but additional fees will apply. See the Services & Rates page for more information.

Will you watch my pets on weekends?
I do make scheduled stops on weekends.

Will you walk my dogs off leash if requested?
Unfortunately, due to insurance requirements, I will only walk dogs that are properly collared, leashed and/or harnessed. This protects your pet and the other animals we may encounter on our walks. For those dogs that are especially aggressive walkers I will use a secondary slip-leash as extra protection.

What is your cancellation policy?
For daily walkers there is no fee for cancelling a stop but a 48 hour notice is appreciated. For scheduled vacation stops a one week cancellation notice is preferred.
